(\u00c9pisode 11)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Asunci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les feuilles de <em>yerba mate<\/em>, une plante proche du houx, sont depuis toujours utilis\u00e9es en infusion par les Guaranis en tant que source de caf\u00e9ine, \u00e0 d\u00e9faut de conna\u00eetre alors le th\u00e9 ou le caf\u00e9. Le mat\u00e9 est largement consomm\u00e9 dans le sud de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique Latine, et commence \u00e0 \u00eatre r\u00e9pandu \u00e0 travers le monde. Mais au Paraguay, on aime bien boire le mat\u00e9 glac\u00e9 (il est alors nomm\u00e9 <em>terer\u00e9<\/em>). Il faut dire que vu la chaleur en \u00e9t\u00e9, on n\u2019a pas vraiment envie de siroter une boisson bouillante\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La danse traditionnelle la plus populaire est la polka. Oui oui, on parle bien de la danse originaire de Boh\u00eame. Elle est arriv\u00e9e ici au milieu du XIX<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup>, et elle a eu rapidement la cote. Puis elle a petit \u00e0 petit \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9e par la culture locale, et se nomme d\u00e9sormais polka paraguayenne. Qui se joue notamment avec une harpe paraguayenne, \u00e0 savoir une harpe europ\u00e9enne classique adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la sauce guarani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le drapeau local est compos\u00e9 de trois bandes horizontales rouge-blanc-bleu. Mais petite particularit\u00e9, il poss\u00e8de deux faces diff\u00e9rentes&nbsp;: \u00e0 l\u2019endroit, les armoiries du pays sont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au milieu de la bande blanche. Et \u00e0 l\u2019envers, on trouve \u00e0 la place un lion devant une pique surmont\u00e9e d\u2019un bonnet phrygien, avec la devise paix et justice. Vu l\u2019histoire tumultueuse du pays, pas s\u00fbr que la devise soit des plus adapt\u00e9es\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019artisanat paraguayen propose de superbes et excellents hamacs. On ne plaisante pas avec la sieste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le duel est l\u00e9gal au Paraguay. Une petite condition n\u00e9anmoins&nbsp;: les deux participants doivent \u00eatre enregistr\u00e9s comme donneur de sang, et du personnel m\u00e9dical doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent. Ce serait dommage de g\u00e2cher&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Point de sonnettes ici&nbsp;: on annonce son arriv\u00e9e en tapant dans ses mains, les fen\u00eatres \u00e9tant ouvertes tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019on appelle de la low-tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Guinness Book a homologu\u00e9 ici le plus grand barbecue au monde, avec environ 30 000 participants. L\u2019histoire ne dit pas si la viande \u00e9tait cuite \u00e0 point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voil\u00e0.
